		<description>Commenting to my own entry again but I discovered this huge thing is actually nothing more than a big black horsefly. Now I remember horse flies at the beach when I was a kid and these things are mean and bite.  BUT!!!!  I did you see the size of this thing?  I mean, I realize I took a really crappy photo but c'mon, flies are NOT supposed to be bigger than a quarter, especially ones that bite.  

There are folks here in NC that say that the bugs here are no different than anywhere else.  I BEG TO DIFFER!!! ;0</description>
