Every once in a while, a new site comes along that really wows me. This site may not be very new at all but I just stumbled upon it and am so glad I did. It is wonderfully simplistic and yet chock full of REAL information. Check it out;

Studies have repeatedly shown that childhood exposure to lead can cause learning problems, reduced intelligence, hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder. There is no lead level that is considered safe in blood, and recent studies have shown adverse health effects even at very low levels.

Did you know that mercury is accummulative? It is. So to me, any amount is too much. Here’s a fabulous organization that offers a Mercury Calculator. You can put in your weight and how much fish you’ll be eating, then select the type of fish and it will tell you what percentage of mercury you are getting in relation to the EPA limits.
